Karen, CE, CCE
My journey with electrolysis started in 2017 as a client. I was instantly captivated by the results and the profession behind them, and by 2018 I had opened The Sardis Electrolysis Lounge.
As a mom of four, this career has been the perfect fit, letting me be present for field trips and hot lunch days while doing work I genuinely love. Helping clients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin is something I don't take lightly.
That passion for the industry led my husband and I to purchase Swansons' Canadian Institute of Electrolysis and A & E Beauty Supplies in 2022, expanding our ability to support both clients and the next generation of electrologists.

I graduated from Swanson’s Canadian Institute of Electrolysis in January of 2026. Having experienced the joys of electrolysis myself, I was eager to bring the joys of permanent hair removal to others. Joining the team at The Sardis Electrolysis Lounge allows me to be part of a passionate, supportive team.
When I’m not at the Sardis Electrolysis Lounge, you can find me on my farm with my horse and chickens, or with my head in a book.
Did someone say free electrolysis?
As a sister company to Swanson's Canadian Institute of Electrolysis, we periodically have student training cohorts right here at the lounge. During the sessions, treatments are complete free and always supervised by Karen.
Bookings open closer to each cohort date, so keep an eye out if you'd like to snag a spot!
